Do you know that there are so many mold species that exists and not all types of mold are safe for us? Molds come in many color and the most common color that we can see are green and whitish. We can find it anywhere especially on organic materials. Molds are generally risk-free if not ingested or touched but that depends on the classification of the mold you found.

Molds are organisms that commonly grow on edible materials such as the food that were already spoiled. Try keeping bread exposed to environmental air and the next day, you are sure to find some greenish growth on the bread’s surface and it smells bad. Those are molds and if they are growing on food, that food will be unsafe for eating and so it should be thrown away.
If you try to eat those foods that have mold growths, you will surely get sick. Sometimes, molds are so microscopic that you won’t know that it is already growing on the bread you just ate. Sometimes, you will be able to detect that there is growth of the organism on the food you just ate because the flavor and that taste of the food is bad.
There are three common classifications of molds. The first one is the pathogenic of infectious molds and by its name, it causes infection. This highly infects those people that have low immune system and at times, are already sick. To do away with the molds under this classification, it is important that it will be determined beforehand so that it will be removed.
The second classification is the allergenic ones. This type is usually not a great threat to health. It will cause some allergic on people who’ve had contact with it. The usual allergic reaction is asthma and rashes on the skin. These molds can be found at home and they can be removed to prevent causing allergic reaction.
The last classification is the toxic ones and these are extremely fatal and dangerous. It must be removed at ones to prevent causing problems. This usually comes in the black color that is why they are easy to identify at times. If you happen to find this type at home, be sure to have it removed.
